What happens when you delete your account?
- Permanent Removal: Your name, email, profile photo, institution, specialty, and login credentials will be permanently erased.
- Immediate Revocation: All active sessions, mobile device tokens, and authentication cookies will be instantly invalidated across all devices.
- Simulation Progress: Your clinical simulation history, scores, diagnostic attempts, and XP rankings will be irreversibly removed.
- Subscription Cancellation: Any active subscription will be marked cancelled immediately.
- Backup Retention: Secondary database backup archives containing encrypted copies will be completely wiped during the standard 30-day rotation cycle.
Alternative Deletion Methods
If you uninstalled the app or cannot log in via password:
- In-App Deletion: In the Interactive Cases Android app, open the menu → Profile → Account → Delete Account.
- Email Request: Send an email from your registered address to support@interactive-cases.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Our support team will verify and process the deletion within 48 business hours.
